Gabrielle Willis is smart. She's funny. And oh yes, she's a bit klutzy.

On the outside, Gabrielle Willis has it all under control. A new life in Manhattan, a great roommate, and a good job. But she is haunted. Haunted by a memory she's tried to forget and by a family who's abandoned her. But what happens when what's on the outside is only an illusion and in perfect contradiction to what's buried deep within?

Enter Dane Rhodes. He's gorgeous, smart, and sexy as hell. Just what Gabby wants, or so she thinks. But when she meets Brad Dixon, the sweet guy with the crooked smile, he begins to make her see that the very thing she is trying to run from is the very thing that just may push her to see the

Review
After a terrible tragedy befalls Gabrielle Willis, breaking her heart, she moves to New York City with her best friend, Fran, to start a new career and a new life. Because of what happens, she erects a huge wall around her heart, vowing to never let anyone get close again. She rarely dates, and when she does, it's just for fun, not for emotions. Unexpectedly, she runs into the green-eyed god that is Dane Rhodes. They quickly fall into lust, but Gabby's still not sure it will ever get past the physical.

One the sidelines is Brad, the sweet sexy coffee shop owner with whom Gabby's had a few clumsy, albeit sweet, encounters. Giving up Starbucks in order to hang out at Brad's, they quickly fall into an easy friendship. The more time they spend together, the closer they become, and the less Gabby really cares to see Dane. It's apparent to everyone except for Gabby that Brad wants to be more than friends, but he doesn't push her for anything, as he respects her wishes, hoping in time she'll realize how she really feels. At the same time, Gabby's trying hard to fight her growing feelings for Brad, while trying to figure out her intense physical chemistry with Dane.

Will Brad be able to break through the wall around Gabby's heart, or will she stick with Dane in order to minimize the risk of another broken heart?
***
Love Love was a sweet, funny, heartwarming book that does just enough to make you feel that twinge of angst, but it also brings a huge smile to your face throughout most of the book. Beth Michele had me rooting for the good guy as opposed to the sexy badass.

Gabby was such a fun character. She's a goofy, clumsy girl, and she owns it. She's gone through so much at such a young age, that it's amazing that she still has a positive outlook on life, even if she no longer believes in love. Her reasons for her emotional withdrawals were sympathetic, and I think anyone in her situation would have felt the same. She drove me nuts, at times, but she was strong when it was needed the most. I admired her strength as I connected with her on a very emotional level. This could be one of my bffs! Speaking of, LOVED Fran. She was an awesome secondary character, and exactly the type of friend Gabby needed. She told her like it was, but she also is the shoulder to cry on. Their friendship really was a beautiful thing.

Brad.... I LOVE Brad! He's sweet, sexy, charming, and funny. He's the boy-next-door best friend turned boyfriend perfect kinda character.

"I've been wondering something all night." My eyes go wide. "Have you ever been kissed by a superhero before?"

That's Brad.. A sinfully sexy, silly dork. And I love him.

Dane's a wildcard. I wish we would've had a more solid resolution with Dane. I don't know why, but I feel like there could be more to his story than what we got. Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part, because while I LOVE Brad, I like to think that Dane's a good guy.

All in all, I really enjoyed this story. Don't get me wrong, I love my bad boys, but it's always refreshing to meet a sweet, funny, charming male character whose intellect and personality are equally as sexy as his physical appearance. Love Love definitely delivers on this, and I loved it.
